Google is gradually rolling out it's Gemini AI to all google workspaces, if you do not have access yet you may have to wait or you can sign up for the paid version here.

STEP 1: Getting Started

Go to Google Slides. You can access it via your Google workspace or using this link. You will need to sign up or be logged in with your Gmail account.

Select a new “Blank Presentation” to create one from scratch.

STEP 2: Adding a Slide

To add a slide with AI, click on the Gemini icon at the top right.

A chat box will pop up on the right of your screen. Describe the slide you want to create where it says “Send a message” and hit Enter when you have it.

Wait a few seconds and you will see your slide come alive. Click “Insert” if you are happy with it or regenerate it and tweak your prompt until if fits your needs.

STEP 3: Generate Images

Most likely, your slide will contain images. But if you want to modify it or add and image to it, you can:

• Click the Gemini icon again and ask for an image giving it a description.
• Go to the image of the slide that you want to modify, right-click, select “Replace image”, and then “Create image with Gemini”

Describe your images, pick a style (like background or photography), and hit Enter. It will provide you with multiple images as shown below:

It's as simple as that to generate new slide show presentations.
